GEOINT provides opportunities for USGIF Members and Defense and Intelligence Community organizations to hold related sidebar programs during the lunch breaks of the Symposium. Special Programs include:
Tradecraft Roundtable
Listen to representatives from the community discuss the future of the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and its relation to our National and Homeland Security missions. Based upon the findings of the Tradecraft Roundtable at Tech Days 2008, the Roundtable will continue discussions at the GEOINT 2008 Symposium on how to set the foundation for a focused program that will define a strategy to move the geospatial intelligence tradecraft forward.
Emerging Technologies Pavillion
During lunch breaks, government organizations will present how they are redefining the way our community addresses challenges and supports mission success with the use of new technologies and capabilities.
R&D Presentations
Academic researsh and development will be on display throughout the week, but specifically highlighted one day during lunch when six projects are selected by USGIF for presentation in the Emerging Technologies Pavillion.
Interoperability Technology Demonstration
Throughout the GEOINT 2008 Symposium, the USGIF Technology Committee's Demonstration Subcommittee will present how current geospatial capabilities can be configured for seamless interoperable uses that expand the power of geospatial intelligence to support multi-agency collaboration and successfully complete the mission.
