For several years now, a number of mathematical, scientific, acquisition, and analysis disciplines have been converging as components of a larger discipline—geospatial intelligence. Geospatial intelligence has become, in a very real sense, the cornerstone of our national and homeland security through its place at the functional center of many diverse intelligence functions.

Now, the private sector is experiencing a similar convergence of geospatial intelligence disciplines. The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) is the first and only foundation where members can work together—outside their own organizational and corporate interests—towards a mutual goal of improving our Nation's national and homeland security through the benefits of their work.

It is the first organization aimed at bringing together the many disciplines involved in the geospatial intelligence sector to exchange ideas, share best practices, and promote the education and importance of a national geospatial intelligence agenda.

Join us as we pursue this mission.
